Local Business of the Year
Awarded to a business that has achieved excellence through their performance, contribution to the local economy or provision of customer service.
Councillor Gerard Brewster said “There are a diverse range of businesses in Stowmarket and their contribution is very important to the local economy. The Local Business of the Year Award provides an opportunity to celebrate the successes of such businesses. The award category is open to all businesses, from smaller enterprises who serve the local community to larger employers who provide global services operating on the international stage as well as medium sized firms who have developed a strong reputation across the County and region. We are asking local people to nominate businesses that set the standards in the town, whether they are based is in Stowmarket, or Stowmarket is a key site in a larger operation. So if you know of a well-run, professional and enterprising local business, why not fill out a nomination form so that we can recognise their contribution to the town?”

Last year Timberwolf presented Cabbages and Kings (The Mix) with the Local Business of the Year Award and we are very much looking forward to presenting the award to another deserving recipient this year. The award seeks to recognise a successful business model within the Stowmarket area, whom are not only offering value and excellence to their customers, they are also offering something back into the town as an employer or as a service provider. The award enables us to celebrate other local businesses that have embraced our community and Timberwolf are honoured to have been involved with the Awards since its inception.”
