Stuart started his career at Sopwell House, St Albans while at catering college before moving to London to be part of the opening team of the 5 star One Aldwych Hotel.

He had various stages in London working under the likes of Gary Rhodes, Marco Pierre White and Tom Aikens before moving to Suffolk.  He spent 5 years at the Cornwallis, Diss working his way up to head chef.   In May 2007 he moved to Le Talbooth, the fine dining flagship of the Milsom Hotels group for a short period before he was selected to take on the latest project of Milsoms Kesgrave Hall. Stuart opened Milsoms Kesgrave Hall 11 year ago and continues to oversee both kitchens and his large brigade of chefs where is now Executive chef.

Stuart is a Masterchef of Great Britain  – A professional chef’s association seeking to promote everything that is the very best of British, produce, recipes, artisan suppliers and chefs and to uphold the great culinary traditions and skills.
