The Town Council is able to provide a range of support services for Community Groups in Stowmarket – from grant funding to the provision of advice and promotional opportunities.
The Grants Scheme
Local organisations are able to apply for grants, of up to £500, for projects and initiatives that will be of benefit to the residents of Stowmarket. The 2019 Grants scheme will re-open in October.
StowFund runs throughout the year to support volunteer-led projects and initiatives that benefit the community and/or improve the environment of Stowmarket. Money has recently been awarded to the Salvation Army for youth engagement exercises at the café on the Recreation Ground and to the Stowmarket Boys Brigade Band for new uniforms and wet weather capes.
